The Registration and Curriculum Division handles the following affairs for students:
1. enrollment, registration, academic records and transcripts, evaluation of graduation credits, and entrance exam.
2. curriculum changes, instruction regulations, and the rules for student evaluations and examinations.
- to supervise student matriculation;
- to control the rosters for incoming, transfer, expelled, suspended, reinstated and graduating students;
- to approve matriculation reservation;
- to report matriculation records to the Ministry of Education;
- to process the application for certificate of matriculation, and matriculation reservation;
- to handle the application and cancellation for transfer, minor, and double major;
- to maintain the database for students’ names and addresses;
- to supervise the production and renewal of student Ids;
- to process the application for Chinese and English academic transcripts;
- to review students’ academic records for graduation qualifications;
- to verify students’ qualifications for diploma ;
- to handle the filing, reviewing and mailing of academic records;
- to manage grades correction, and record entry;
- to administer the suspension, and expulsion of students;
- to adjust the academic rankings of the students each semester;
- to amend regulations and ordinances pertaining to registration;
- to process the application for certificates;
- to control budgeting of the division;
- to supervise student admissions;
- to amend admissions regulations;
- to administer entrance exams for master’s, two-year and four-year programs; and
- to administer transfer exam.
- to amend the University’s regulations and ordinances;
- to schedule the University’s academic calendar (evaluations & exams);
- to handle student course election, summer classes, intercollegiate course elections;
- to supervise the reproduction of exam questions for quizzes, mid-terms and finals exam;
- to coordinate university curriculum and meetings related to teaching matters;
- to coordinate the use of classrooms and labs for student clubs, departments and administrative offices;
- to supervise course offerings;
- to catalogue and publish the office hours schedule of full-time faculty;
- to compile and deliver the teaching schedule, student roster and teachers’ manual;
- to coordinate the compilation of students’ matriculation manual;
- to conduct teaching surveys of all departments, centers and programs;
- to log the teaching load of all faculty members;
- to coordinate course election and credit transfer procedures;
- to control budgeting of the division.
- to handle the reproduction of handouts for full-time and part-time faculty as well as to handle the reproduction of printed matters for internal circulation;
